Long Jing "Dragon Well"
Flat pan-fired leaves, tasting of roasted chestnut and fresh greens, almost no bitterness.
No need to guess by the variety name. Choose a direction — fresh, smoky, sweet, or herbal — and try it out with 10 grams. Buy the full pack once you already know it's yours.
Choose one — the selection below will rebuild around it. Each card shows how to brew this tea and lets you try a sample first.
Early-harvest green and white teas: a clear taste with a grassy note and a long sweetish aftertaste. Brewed with water at 75–85 °C — boiling water kills the freshness on the very first steep.
Flat pan-fired leaves, tasting of roasted chestnut and fresh greens, almost no bitterness.
Needle-shaped leaves, a bright grassy infusion the color of a young apple, a faint salty note of the sea.
Large leaf with silver buds. Light infusion, with a smoky floral note and a honeyed finish.
A soft everyday green: nutty, fresh greens, no harshness even when oversteeped.
A classic of the smoky style: pine smoke, prunes, a full body. Stands up to milk and to cold.
Fine buds, a dark infusion with no sediment. Wet wood, rye bread, long warmth.
Medium-roast rock oolong: baked peach, mineral notes, a smoky finish.
More restrained than Lapsang: smoke stays in the background, dried cherry and cocoa lead.
Tightly rolled pellets, aroma of lilac and butter, sweet lingering finish.
The same creamy flavor almost everyone starts with. Smooth, no bitterness, forgives boiling water.
Malty, strong, with a hint of raisin. A morning tea that stands up to milk.
Golden buds, an amber-colored infusion: honey, baked apple, no astringency at all.
Gathered in the mountains, with the flower. Spicy, warm, works well half-and-half with black tea.
A caffeine-free evening blend: cool mint, lemon balm, a touch of linden.
Large petals, a bright tart brew. Tasty cold too, with ice and orange.

The softest teas from every direction — where to start if you haven't tried anything yet.
For those who already know they love smoke, age and a full body.
Two caffeinated teas a day and one herbal for the evening.
The minimum that lasts for years: a teapot with a strainer, a gaiwan for multiple infusions, and a scale so the ratio isn't just guesswork.
Heat-resistant glass, fine steel mesh strainer, lid stays put even at a full tilt.
A classic vessel for short steeps. The thin rim doesn't burn your fingers, the white bottom shows the color of the infusion.
Tray with a reservoir: infusions, rinses, and spilled water stay on the tray, not on the table.
They show both grams and steeping time. Without them, eyeballing the ratio gives a different taste every time.
The small volume is intentional: the tea has time to open up but not to cool down and turn bitter.
Once the taste is found, tea should simply arrive on its own. Choose the style, the volume and how often — we'll pack the rest and ship it without reminders.
Three things ruin tea: light, humidity, and stray odors nearby. Three rules cover all three.
A tin caddy or an opaque bag with a double seal. A glass jar on the windowsill bleaches green tea within a month and kills the aroma.
Room temperature, away from the stove and kettle. Don't refrigerate the leaves: they pick up moisture and odors as soon as the jar is opened.
Tea leaves absorb nearby smells faster than almost anything else on the shelf. A dedicated cabinet solves the problem for good.
We pack on the day of shipping, so the tea arrives exactly as weighed.
