Fabrics close-up
Bedding is chosen with your fingers, not by name. Here each square is a weave shown at scale and an honest description of the feel: cool or warm, smooth or textured.
The palm glides without snagging, a slight sheen is visible in the light. More pleasant in a warm room.
Feels tightly woven and sturdy. The calmest choice if the set will be washed weekly.
Slightly rough to the touch, warm. The very bedding you remember from childhood.
Visible thread nubs, the fabric "breathes". It wrinkles — and that's its look, not a defect.
The stripe is woven, not printed: you can feel it with a finger and it won't wash out.
The pattern is formed by the weave itself. The heaviest and most formal option in the selection.

Washing without ruining the set
Cotton forgives a lot, but not boiling water or a tumble dryer on max heat. Here's everything worth knowing about this bedding.
Colored — at 30°, whites can go up to 60°. Hotter and the fabric shrinks.
Chlorine eats into the fibre and leaves yellow stains on dyed cotton.
Sateen and jacquard — inside out; linen — while damp, otherwise the creases won't come out.
Tumble drying at high heat causes shrinkage of up to 5%. Better on a line.
A stronger spin cycle crushes the fibers, making the set harder to iron afterward.
Cotton home textiles don't need solvents — they only dry out the fabric.
Removes the manufacturing finish, after which the fabric feels softer to the touch.
Wash the duvet cover inside out with the zipper closed — this way the seam won't come apart.
The set needs room to move in the water. An overloaded drum = gray streaks and creases.
Size chart
The most common mistake is choosing a duvet cover "like the duvet". A 5–10 cm allowance is needed, otherwise the duvet strains the seams. The size selected above is highlighted in the table.

How to measure: sheet length = mattress length + twice the height + 20 cm for tucking in. Mattress 200×180×25 cm → sheet 240×260 cm.
