What it's about asked at the measurement
How long does installation take?
We do a standard room in one day: marking, profile, heating the room, stretching the canvas and installing light fixtures. Multi-level structures and large areas may take two days — this is agreed at the measurement.
Do I need to move the furniture out?
No. It's enough to clear access to the walls around the perimeter by about a metre and remove fragile items from shelves. We cover the rest with film ourselves and clean the room after the work.
How much height does a stretch ceiling take up?
Usually 3–5 cm for a standard profile. If we're fitting recessed spotlights, the housing needs 6–8 cm, and for a floating profile with an LED strip — up to 10 cm. The measurer gives you the exact figure on site, based on the ceiling slab and wiring.
What happens if the neighbors flood you?
The film canvas stretches and holds water. Nothing needs to be moved out, and no wet marks are left on furniture underneath. We come, drain the water through the light fixture opening and put the canvas back in place.
Can the ceiling be washed, and with what?
Yes. Matte and satin — with a soft damp cloth, glossy — with a glass cleaner without alcohol or abrasives. Brushes, powders and scrapers are not used: they leave scratches on the film.
When can you install the ceiling during renovation?
After "wet" works: plastering, filling, wallpapering and electrical wiring outlets. The floor and doors can already be finished — this doesn't affect installation.
