What people ask before the contract

How much roof space does a station need?

Approximately 5–6 m² per kilowatt of installed capacity. For a 10 kW system that's about 50–60 m² of roof slope without constant shade. If one continuous slope isn't enough, we split the array across two slopes or add optimizers.

Will the station work when the power goes out?

Grid-tied — no: for safety reasons the inverter shuts down along with the grid. Power during outages comes from a hybrid system with a battery: it automatically switches to the backup line and keeps the selected appliances running.

What determines the payback period?

On three things: how much the plant will generate, what rate you currently pay for electricity, and how much of the output you use yourself. The calculator on this page shows the logic; the exact calculation is based on your bills and roof measurements.

What permits and paperwork are needed?

For a home system — application to the utility, connection specifications, installation of a bidirectional meter and signing the certificates. We prepare the whole package; the owner just needs the house documents and a signature.

What about generation in winter and cloudy weather?

Panels also work in cloudy weather, but output is lower. Most generation happens from March to September, it's lower in winter, so annual savings are calculated per year, not per single month. Snow usually slides off on its own thanks to the slope and smooth glass surface.

What's the warranty and is maintenance required?

Warranty periods for the panels, inverter and battery are set by the manufacturer, for installation — by us; exact terms are fixed in the contract. Maintenance comes down to checking the mounts and cleaning the surface as needed; output is visible in the app, so any drop is noticed right away.
