How long does window replacement take
Measurement takes up to half an hour per apartment. Production takes several business days depending on the configuration; the exact deadline is fixed in the contract. Installing one window usually takes a few hours, including removal and reveals.
Can windows be installed in winter
Yes. Installation foams and sealants have winter versions that work at sub-zero temperatures. The room stays open only briefly — that's why windows are replaced one at a time, not all at once.
Why do new windows sweat
Condensation usually means excess moisture in the room and insufficient ventilation, not a fault of the window. A micro-ventilation mode, a warmer glass unit and properly insulated reveals help. If there's moisture inside the glass unit, that's already a seal failure, and such a unit is replaced under warranty.
What's better: more chambers in the profile or a warmer glass unit
The glass unit takes up most of the window area, so it affects heat retention more. The smart order is: first an energy-saving glass unit, then a deeper profile. Ideally, both are matched together.
What's included in turnkey installation
Removal of the old structure, installation and leveling of the new one, mounting joint with vapor and water insulation, reveals, sill, drip cap, hardware adjustment, and debris removal.
What's the warranty and what it covers
Warranty periods for the profile, glass unit, hardware, and installation are specified separately in the contract — they differ. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship, but not mechanical damage or the consequences of unauthorized alteration of the structure.
