Heel taps and sole protector
Two jobs that extend a pair's life the most. Heel tips wear out in a season; sole protectors take on the sole's wear.
Heel taps
Done while you wait. A worn-down heel tip starts eating into the heel itself — and then the repair costs not two hundred UAH, but eight hundred.
- Polyurethane and rubber, matched to the heel shape
- Thin stiletto, wide heel, platform
- Edge trimming, no overhang

Prevention
A thin sole overlay. Fitted on a new pair or one that hasn't worn through yet. The glue needs to cure under a press, so this is a full-day job.
- Half sole protector under the toe, or full length
- Noticeably less slippery on tile and wet asphalt
- On a sole worn all the way through, it won't hold anymore — that's when a replacement is needed
