How a lesson works
An hour, broken down by the minute
Same structure every time: the student knows what's coming next and doesn't waste energy guessing.
1
Warm-up and review
First 10 minutes — a quick recap of the last topic and homework review. Mistakes are talked through out loud.
2
New topic with examples
20 minutes of explanation with a reference diagram on the board. The student tries it right away instead of listening to a lecture to the end.
3
Timed practice
20 minutes of problems from simple to complex. This shows exactly where the logic "breaks", and we stop right there.
4
Summary and homework
Last 10 minutes — a summary in your own words and a manageable assignment. Parents get a short note after the lesson.
