How long to wait and how long installation takes
When will the surveyor arrive?
You choose the day and time slot in the form below. The measurer calls an hour before arrival, so you don't have to wait through the whole window.
How long does it take to make the door after measurement?
It depends on the model: in-stock items ship quickly, while doors made to size and color take longer at the factory. The measurer puts the exact date in the quote — it's a date, not "approximately."
How long does the installation itself take?
Interior doors take roughly from two hours per opening, entrance doors take longer due to anchoring and foam sealing, and a sliding system with a pocket takes the most time since part of the work involves the wall.
Can it be installed before finishing works?
Entry doors go in first — they close off the site. Interior doors are best installed after the screed and finished flooring: otherwise the threshold and gap will need to be redone.
What to do with the old door?
We dismantle and carry it out. Haul-away to the disposal site is a separate service — the measurer will list the cost in the quote.
