Cleaning and lubrication of the movement
Old oil thickens and turns into an abrasive: the gears start cutting into their own pivots. That's why the movement is disassembled down to the last screw, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, dried, and reassembled with new oil — each lubrication point with its own type.
Disassembly and inspection
We remove the hands, the dial and the bridges. We inspect pivots, jewels and wheel teeth — everything that wears out silently.
Cleaning
Several ultrasonic baths with drying in between. The balance and pallet fork are cleaned separately.
Assembly and lubrication
Oils of different viscosity: watch oil for the wheel train, thicker for the winding mechanism, a separate one for the pallet fork.
Regulation and settling
We set the rate on the instrument in several positions and leave the watch for a few days — accuracy is verified by time, not by promise.
