How Much Does a Website Cost in 2026

Development11.06.2026

"How much does a website cost?" — the honest answer always starts with "it depends". But "it depends" is useless when you need to plan a budget. So here are the actual numbers behind website development pricing in Ukraine in 2026 — and a breakdown of what you're really paying for.

Website prices in 2026: the market vs Soft Plus

Type of websiteMarket (UA studios)Soft PlusTimeline
Landing page (single page)from €750from €1002–3 weeks
Business card site (3–5 pages)from €900from €2942–4 weeks
Corporate websitefrom €1400from €9803–5 weeks
Online storefrom €2300from €4906–9 weeks
Web service / portalfrom €4700from €5500from 2 months

The "Market" column shows median starting prices of Ukrainian studios from our 2026 monitoring. The "Soft Plus" column is our current price list: on simple formats (landing page, store on a ready-made engine) we deliberately keep the entry barrier low, while on complex projects the price is market-level — there is no difference in cost there. The open market-price dataset lives in the Price Index 2026.

Why a landing page from €100 is not a "$200 website"

The honest answer: it comes from the process, not the quality. We have our own design system and a well-oiled assembly pipeline — we do not draw a typical landing page from scratch, we build it from proven blocks around your task: structure, copy, responsiveness, speed and basic SEO are already included. Automation and AI tools speed up the routine, and having no office or bloated management staff keeps the price honest. When you need a fully custom design or non-standard functionality, that is a different format and a different number — and we say so upfront.

What goes into the cost of a website

1. Design: template or custom

A template design saves you $300–700, but your site will look like hundreds of others, and half the template will remain dead code dragging down load speed. Custom design is work built around your audience: every screen is structured around what the visitor needs to do — not around what happened to ship with the template.

2. Number of pages and content

A landing page is one long page with one action. A corporate site is already 5–15 pages: services, about, case studies, contacts, blog. Every page means structure, copy and markup. If the studio writes the copy, budget another $30–80 per page.

3. Features and integrations

A contact form is table stakes. But a customer account, online payments, CRM integration, a price calculator or appointment booking — each of those modules adds $200 to $1000+. Nowhere is this more visible than in e-commerce: that's exactly why a turnkey online store with us starts at from €490 — behind that number sit the catalog, cart, payments and shipping.

4. Technical quality

The things you can't see in a mockup: load speed, responsive layout, correct rendering on older phones, baseline SEO, spam-proof forms. Cheap websites cut corners exactly here — and then lose to faster competitors in Google before promotion even starts.

Where you can save — and where you can't

You can: start with a landing page instead of a full site, use a standard page structure, launch without a blog and add it later, write part of the copy yourself.

You can't: on responsive layout (over 70% of traffic is mobile), on speed, on hosting and security. Saving $200 here usually turns into rebuilding the whole site a year later.

Hidden costs people forget about

  • Domain and hosting — $30–100 per year.
  • Maintenance — updates, backups, small fixes. One-off or on a monthly plan — more details on the website maintenance page.
  • Promotion. A website without traffic is a business card in a drawer. Budget for SEO services or ads from month two or three after launch.

Why a "$200 website" usually ends up costing more

A $200 website from a random freelancer is a template with your logo dropped in. It is slow, hard to edit and not ready for promotion. The typical scenario: six months later the business orders a "proper website" — and pays twice. The difference with our landing page from €100 is that it is the entry price that is cheap, not the result: the speed, responsiveness and basic SEO in it are the same as in the "expensive" work, because they come off the same pipeline.

How to prepare your brief for an accurate quote

The more specific your task description, the narrower the price range. Before contacting a studio, it helps to have: 2–3 examples of websites you like (and what exactly you like about them); a list of must-have features (form, payments, calculator, customer account); a clear idea of who your customer is and what action they should take on the site; a rough deadline. That's enough to get an estimate within ±15% after the very first call.

Bottom line

In 2026 the market budget for a small-business website runs from €750 for a landing page to €2300+ for an online store; at Soft Plus the same formats start from €100 and from €490 respectively. What matters is paying not for "pages" but for a tool that pays for itself in leads.
